Acuutech, a leading provider of cloud and integrated IT solutions, has been named among the UK’s top 200 women-powered businesses for the second consecutive year, according to a new report by J.P. Morgan.

The annual Top Women-Powered Businesses report highlights the growing influence of female-led companies in the UK economy, with the proportion of high-growth businesses founded, led, owned, or managed by women rising from 18.3% in 2021 to 29.7% in 2024.

Recognition for Female-Led Innovation

The report acknowledges businesses that have demonstrated strong performance, innovation, and leadership under female direction. Despite a decline in overall investment levels from 2022 to 2023, women-powered businesses in the UK secured 23.2% of total investment, up from 23.0% in 2022.

While the increase is marginal, the findings indicate a positive trend in investment towards female-led enterprises, reinforcing efforts to achieve greater gender equity in business.

Acuutech’s Group CEO, Priti Mehta, welcomed the recognition, calling it a significant milestone not only for the company but for women in business more broadly.

“To be recognised in this report for the second year running is a huge honour,” she said. “As part of an incredibly talented and diverse team, I remain committed to delivering innovative solutions that help our customers embrace digital transformation and drive their businesses forward.”

Supporting Women in Leadership

Mehta also highlighted the critical role of women in high-growth sectors, particularly in technology and innovation.

“Women play a pivotal role in driving performance within the fastest-growing areas of the economy,” she said. “As we celebrate International Women’s Day, I hope this recognition helps inspire more women to innovate and lead the businesses of the future.”

Acuutech, which specialises in cloud computing, managed IT services, and digital transformation solutions, has gained a strong reputation for innovation and leadership. The company’s inclusion in the J.P. Morgan report for a second year underscores its ongoing contributions to the UK economy and its commitment to diversity and inclusion.

With women-powered businesses gaining greater recognition, the report suggests that continued investment and policy support will be essential in nurturing female entrepreneurship and expanding the role of women in leadership across the UK business landscape.
