TalkTalk Business, a major provider of internet, data, and managed services to UK businesses, has announced a partnership with Aria Systems to introduce a new, enhanced billing solution as part of its technological overhaul. The Aria Billing Cloud, which is AI-powered and integrates seamlessly with Salesforce’s Communications Cloud, will serve as TalkTalk Business’s new billing support system (BSS), designed to enhance revenue management and customer experience.

TalkTalk Business, which became a standalone company in March after separating from the TalkTalk Group, required an independent business support system to sustain its rapid growth and operational independence. Following a rigorous evaluation process, the company selected Aria Billing Cloud, with support from systems integrator Virtusa, due to Aria’s capability to handle complex billing processes and its proven integration with Salesforce Communications Cloud.

TalkTalk Business’s Chief Executive, Ruth Kennedy, highlighted the reasons behind the decision, noting that Aria’s ability to meet TalkTalk Business’s specific requirements, speedily migrate existing billing accounts, and integrate with Salesforce were all significant factors. “Aria’s understanding of our needs, coupled with its history of quick deployments in global telecoms markets, demonstrated that it was the best choice for our back-office digital transformation,” Kennedy explained.

TalkTalk Business currently serves over 85,000 businesses across the UK, providing connectivity, data, and managed networking services to companies both large and small. With the launch of the new BSS, the company expects to accelerate time-to-market for new services, creating an improved experience for end customers and enabling more responsive revenue management.

Virtusa, a leading systems integration firm, advised TalkTalk Business on its technology options, ultimately recommending the Aria and Salesforce combination. The pre-integrated platform offered an agile and scalable solution that fit TalkTalk Business’s operational model, delivering proven reliability as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.

Aria Systems has seen rapid adoption of its solutions within the telecommunications industry, with Tom Dibble, Aria’s President and CEO, welcoming TalkTalk Business into what he described as Aria’s “fast-growing roster of global communication service providers.” He highlighted the value that Aria’s integration with Salesforce brings to companies seeking to modernise their network services and improve billing flexibility. “TalkTalk Business’s adoption of Aria is another sign of our momentum in this sector, and we’re thrilled to have them join the Aria family,” Dibble said.

The Aria and Salesforce integration is expected to significantly enhance billing processes, supporting TalkTalk Business’s mission to expand its service offerings and continue providing high-quality connectivity solutions.

As TalkTalk Business settles into its new operational identity as an independent entity, the company’s focus on digital transformation aims to drive efficiency and enhance the customer journey. This billing system upgrade is a major step forward in achieving those goals, enabling TalkTalk Business to support UK enterprises with innovative solutions and agile, scalable technology.

Salesforce’s trademarks, including AppExchange and Communications Cloud, underscore the platform’s strong presence in global digital and communications services, with TalkTalk Business set to benefit from the combined capabilities of the Aria and Salesforce ecosystem.
