Morgan Stanley has unveiled the 25 companies selected to join the 2024 cohort of its Inclusive Ventures Lab, a global in-house accelerator programme aimed at supporting disruptive technology startups. These companies, drawn from the Americas and the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) regions, will spend five months developing their businesses with the backing of Morgan Stanley, receiving both financial investment and crucial mentorship.

The Inclusive Ventures Lab programme, now in its 10th year, seeks to foster innovation by providing seed to Series A stage startups with resources to help scale their operations. The companies selected for the 2024 cohort span a variety of sectors, including Climate Tech, Retail, Healthcare, FinTech, SaaS, and Enterprise Software, with many utilising artificial intelligence (AI) and sustainability in their solutions. Each company will receive an investment of £250,000, as well as access to a tailored entrepreneurship curriculum, mentorship, and business growth resources through Morgan Stanley’s ecosystem.

“In today’s challenging venture capital environment, we are proud to welcome our largest cohort of groundbreaking startups to the Inclusive Ventures Lab,” said Selma Bueno, Global Head of the Morgan Stanley Inclusive Ventures Group. “Each year, we expand our efforts to ensure more entrepreneurs can succeed, and we’re excited to support these innovative companies as they work to build a better world.”

The programme offers companies the opportunity to work alongside internal and external partners from Morgan Stanley’s network, helping them grow their businesses, refine their strategies, and enhance their chances of securing future investment.

Among the 25 companies chosen, standout participants include:

    • Agri-Trak (US), which digitises small farm operations to optimise productivity and sustainability through real-time data tracking.
    • Compare Ethics (UK), an AI-powered platform that simplifies sustainability compliance for retail brands, helping them make accurate green claims.
    • Darent (Saudi Arabia), a vacation rental marketplace that emphasises local experiences for travellers while ensuring property insurance for hosts.
    • For The Creators (UK), an omni-channel fashion marketplace allowing women to rent or buy high-quality clothing for all stages of motherhood.
    • Sanarai (US), which connects the Latino community to mental health professionals, offering affordable, culturally sensitive emotional support.

This year’s cohort also includes companies focused on AI-driven business solutions, such as Mavity (US), an operating system for marketing and design teams, and Soralink (Canada), which helps manufacturers prevent machine failures through smart sensors and AI technology.

Morgan Stanley’s programme will culminate in a global Demo Day scheduled for February 2025. The Demo Day will provide the startups with the opportunity to showcase their progress and present their innovations to potential investors, business partners, and customers. Last year’s event attracted firms representing over $40 billion in available funding.

Since its launch in 2017, Morgan Stanley’s Inclusive Ventures Lab has supported 117 companies, helping entrepreneurs navigate the challenging world of venture capital and scale their businesses. The programme continues to play a pivotal role in advancing technology-driven innovation, creating pathways for startups to achieve their full potential. For further information about Morgan Stanley, please visit www.morganstanley.com.
